IMARIT leverages Andean cultural heritage and eases its preservation by merging artistic, traditional clothing production with high-end fashion design.

OUR VALUES
SOCIAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY
IMARIT aims to become a role model in the textile industry in terms of sustainability.
1. by implementing a circular production model, avoiding waste throughout our production and distribution process, as well as by integrating recycled fibers into our chain.
2. by enabling systemic change, empowering women in developing countries' rural areas through access to quality employment opportunities, and cultural heritage preservation.
3. by making all of it possible with a for-profit business model, allowing IMARIT to sustain and scale its impact.
HIGH QUALITY
Timeless fashion, by definition, needs to last. Our clothes are carefully designed and crafted with the best quality local and natural fibers.
Our quality guarantee lies on the centuries of craftmanship and traditional clothing production that IMARIT seeks to elevate and represent.
TRANSPARENCY
IMARIT advocates for a fully transparent model in which we can trust each other, keeping a consistent and simple message about how we work, and creating quality personal relationships between all of our stakeholders.
WHAT IS OUR IMPACT?
IMARIT is not a charitable organisation, but the successful production of our pilot collection in Peru has proven that we have a huge potential to generate a sustainable social impact and scale it worldwide.
Our model can be replicated in the many other artisan communities we have around the world, with the support of luxury designers and brands.
The core of our impact model is to empower women artisans, in developing countries' rural areas, by generating great work opportunities that are adapted to their needs and social structures.
IMARIT's women artisans produce on demand, and are able to work from home regardless of where they live, allowing them to conciliate their family-caretaker role with a stable job and source of revenue for them and their relatives.
We allow them to become economically independent in a society that has consistently prevented them from it.
In turn, these jobs increase and improve everyone’s access to basic necessities in the community, such as education and healthcare, and brings about wealth and growth for further prosper-ability.

OUR MISSION
We strive to reach and influence people with our vision of a world where women artisans can prosper personally and professionally.
We aim to empower them, not only on a local scale, but on a global one by allowing them to achieve the internationally recognized prestige they deserve for their artwork.
Our values reflect our commitment to make our customers happy, by using only eco-friendly and high-quality materials in our garnments, by avoiding waste throughout all of our operations, and by paying our women artisans a fair living wage.
The approach we take towards product design reflects our efforts to ensure the uniqueness of our garments, fair-trade practices, knowledge transfer and healthy relationships between the brands, the designers and the artisans who make it possible.
